How To Help Out

We as Beaverton High School always love to include alumni and parents in what we do, and there are a couple ways that we can do this. Below are several lists, contacts, and methods to help with stage work, donate, and get involved with our BHS students.

Method One: Volunteering

Step One:

The first thing to remember is that if you want to volunteer and hang out with students, whether that be sewing or building or painting or hair, is that you HAVE to get a background check. NO ADULTS can be supervisors or involved in after school programs without a background check.  So, the first step to volunteering is a background check.

Step Two:

Contact us through our Contact Page that you are interested in getting involved. We are always interested in alumni and parents helping out with construction, costuming, hair, makeup, props, and more.

Step Three:

We will contact you with dates, information, and times when you can come in and help! Most times we will require help will be on Fridays, Saturdays, and during show times. The time we need the most help is closer to productions when costuming is tight and we LOVE people who know how to sew. We also, between our matinee and final show, have a great opportunity for volunteers to come out and help out our students. Contact us to find out more!

Method Two: Acknowledging Needy Teenagers

So what does that mean? Despite the face that teenagers are dependent

Method Three: Donation
